Specialty Laboratories

2000 to Current

Specialty Laboratories, founded in 1975, is a full-service, clinical reference laboratory focused on partnering with hospitals to support their role in community-based medicine and to reduce costs for episodes of care. Following their recently completed merger with AmeriPath, Inc., Specialty remains a distinct operating division and their 200,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility in Valencia, California has become the Esoteric Testing Division Headquarters for the newly combined organization.

Web Design

Our goal is to create simple and creative sites that meet our client's objectives. During the design process, we provide revisions until our client absolutely loves their site. We do not use templates. Every design is made from scratch with our client's goals in mind.

Web Development

We build our websites from the ground up to achieve our client's goals. We employ, not outsource, database and programming engineers that develop in many frameworks and languages including .net, jQuery, SQL server and open source.

SpiderEdit is TheSpider's Content Management System (CMS). It provides complete control of web content so you can improve efficiency and productivity without depending on third parties. Build pages, blogs, calendars and more.

Maintenance

TheSpider, Inc. offers maintenance contracts at a fraction of the cost of hiring new employees. This allows us to become an extension of your office: our resources become available to you on a regular basis.

Database

Behind every great Content Management System or Web Application is a good database. We specialize in creating scalable data models with an emphasis on architecture and security. Our database of choice is SQL Server.
